Nearly thirty years ago Martin Harker and Roger Corbett Milward founded the Pepperpot Players. Upton-upon-Severn’s own amateur dramatics company, whose plays, musicals and pantomimes have been entertaining and thrilling generations of audiences ever since.

Upton’s Memorial Hall is the regular home of the Players, and is the venue for our Monday and Wednesday evening rehearsals, and for all of our major shows. Our ambitious productions often attract capacity audiences, who now also enjoy the benefits of new, comfortable seating in the hall.

All involvement in the group is voluntary, and the time and commitment that is put into each production is reflected in the popularity of the shows. As well as showcasing a wealth of dramatic and musical talent, the Players have also earned a well-deserved reputation for the fantastic costumes, props and scenery.

We value the generosity of our patrons and of the local shops and businesses who advertise and sponsor our productions, and who support the group in so many ways.
